Help Battle Cat Heal

Hey guys I'm Mallory. Some of you probably know me from instagram (@cutestlittlenudist). I'm Nami's human. As most of you know I posted about this pitiful cat that showed up @ my mom's house looking like he had been through HELL. We aren't sure what happened but from his wounds it appears he was in a terrible fight with something. My mom took him to the vet & the vet agreed. He didn't have a name so the vet called him "Battle Cat" & for now that's just sorta stuck because obviously he was in one heck of a battle. The vet tested him for FIV & FeLV  which both came back negative so that's definitely a plus. He has him on antibiotics currently. Some of his wounds have ruptured & with taking the meds the swelling has started to go down some but he's not out of the woods just yet. Mr. Battle Cat is skinny as a rail but he is eating so hopefully that will put some weight on him soon. At this point we aren't sure of what costs will arise in the future due to these wounds he currently has but he will definitely need to be seen by the vet again. He also needs to be neutered once he heals, dewormed, something to treat ticks & fleas (my mom said he was covered in them until she have him a bath- She lives in South Carolina & they are horrible in the summer), & honestly I don't what else in the future but as I mentioned he has a long road ahead of him before he's back to feeling pawsome. I've had many of you reach out offering help on Nami's instagram & I want to thank you for that! We all know how expensive vet visits can be & especially under these conditions. As of right now my mom will be keeping him. She wasn't looking to adopt another cat but he was looking for someone to help so he scouted her out.
