Help Beaux Save Animals
Donation protected
Beaux Tox the Dog, a Labrador retriever, and animal rescuer Jamie Hulit are raising funds for medical and veterinary needs, food, bedding, and behavioral training for animals who are waiting for someone to care. Jamie is the owner of lovable Beaux Tox who was born beautiful though not everyone saw it. (You can now follow him on instagram at Beauxtoxrescues)
Beaux's face looks a little different because his siblings crowded him in the womb. His first owner gave him up and his second owner left him outside for years - without even a dog bed or shelter from the Texas heat. When Jamie rescued him his ribs protruded; sadly, he weighed a mere 42 lbs. (see photo). Although she saved him from his lonely existence, it was unclear if he would make it - he was initially suffering from severe malnourishment, heartworms, ear mites, and fleas. He needed nutrition before he could receive heartworm medication and behavioral socialization. After all he'd been through - suffering abandonment and neglect, Jamie felt Beaux deserved a loving home. She took care of his vet bills (totaling around 8k). Her efforts and Beaux’s smile demonstrate that suffering can be relieved with the proper care. In addition to spreading the message of heartworm prevention, Beaux and Jamie are actively working to help animals get placed in loving homes - especially those difficult to adopt or overlooked because of special needs. Jamie volunteers by visiting shelters, fostering, donating, and bringing animals home to rehabilitate so they are more adoptable. Too many animals don't get a happy ending. Your kind act of contributing to Team Beaux can help change that. Any assistance you may be able to provide will go directly to this cause.... no amount ($5, $10, $20) is too small to help pay for needed food, veterinary care, medication, and rehabilitation services. Please join Team Beaux! Help Jamie continue to serve animals like Beaux who need a caring person --like you.
