Help Blackburn Elementary Students

So Blackburn Elementary sent out the email below regarding overdue lunch accounts & it really upset myself & Evan that kids will be not be able to attend a school dance based on their parents financial situation. Don't get me wrong, I get the school can't pay for everyone to eat, but with it being the holidays I also know finances can be tighter than usual. So I called the school & they gave me a dollar amount that all kids are behind, which is $1265. I am really wanting to collect this before Friday so that any child who is wanting to attend the school dance may do so. Even though some people may only owe as little as $20 it would still be great to take care of this one small bill for them around the holidays. I think that this world is so focused on all the bad going on around us right now & to do one small good deed for someone could start a rippling effect or just make someone smile to know that kindness does still exist ....that's how we make this a better world for our children.
