Help Brittany Dorsey Go To Nigeria

Hello!
My name is Brittany Dorsey. I am a rising Junior at Morgan State University. I am a social work major and criminal justice minor. My focus is endangered children and families. After taking an African Diaspora class, I was inspired to not only learn more about about the African Diaspora, but engage and help wherever I can. One day I hope that I can educate people on our roots and get back to our culture. I am a volunteer of Jaiyeroof, Inc. I am looking to raise $2,000 to help fund my trip for our organization’s yearly mission trip to Lagos, Nigeria.
Jaiyeroof, Inc. is committed to giving back to those who are less fortunate. The purpose, which is to aid underprivileged communities in Nigeria, was put to the test during the first trip. Even though Nigeria has the largest continental GDP in Africa, almost half of its population lives below the poverty line with limited access to food. To combat this, the Jaiyeroof team fed over 200 people on Oke Olu Street in a section referred to as the House of the Blind. While they were able to feed many, there were hundreds who left without a meal.
I am asking you to support me in my first time working with Jaiyeroof’s commitment to assist underprivileged communities in Lagos. The money I raise will go towards my Visa, Passport and airfare. Any extra money will go towards purchasing food, containers, water, and utensils that will be used.
Our goal is to feed 1,000 people.
Thank you for reading. Anything you can do to help me would be greatly appreciated.
