Help Cary and Stacey - Let's Give to the Givers
Donation protected
WHO: Stacey has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma
What does this mean??? This means that Cary and Stacey are in for the FIGHT of their lives. At minimum it will take 6 months to WIN the FIGHT.
WHY:
These 2 beautiful humans have spent most of their lives looking after the less fortunate little angels that are born into this world. They have been dedicated to helping others, now we can help them.
WHAT: These fact will make you say "What?"
Married in 1990 and had their first two Foster children that year.
Their First child: Amara, was born in ‘93 then had one more Foster-child.
Their Second child: Cassie, was born in ‘94.
They first got Billy in 2000 and have had 52 additional Foster children since then.
Most were either drug addicted, FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) or special needs of some kind and all under the age of three.
They ended up adopting Billy and Andrew (Billy’s older brother) and eventually Maggie, who is special needs, bringing their family size to Five!
Andrew past away two years ago now. He was only 26.
They currently have two Foster kids. A sibling pair ages one and four. They are in the process of adopting them as well....... plus 30 fish, 2 dogs and a cat!
The most staggering number is that together they have changed over 70,000 diapers!
HOW: Time for us to band together and support in a PRACTICAL way.
The reason to raise this money is to allow Cary to be the PILLAR he needs to be during the journey. Stacey will have limited ability during treatment and recovery. Donating money will help give these 2 one of most powerful BATTLE TOOLS they can bring to the fight...BEING TOGETHER! Worrying about money should not be part of this.
Cary and Stacey personal message...
"As a family of faith we believe in the power of prayer.
As soon as the doctors told us the news we said we were not going to be or act like victims. We don’t know God’s plan but we claim victory over this new chapter in our life.
Fighting this type of cancer has a good success rate so we’re going to pray for strength for Stacey and a speedy recovery."
