Help Chris and Laura get to Gen Con

Hi, I'm Chris, and I'm a podcaster and general nerd associated with the Roleplaying Exchange. It's been a dream for my wife Laura May and I to attend Gen Con, where I can make connections with friends I've only ever spoken to online, and break into the gaming scene on a deeper level than just talking about it online. I have ideas I would love to pitch and people I would love to get advice from, but we can't feasibly afford to get there this year, and it may be a very long time until we can, and not for lack of trying. Car troubles, sick pets, and my general poor health has made it hard to save the money.

My friends, though, are persuasive, and they've convinced me to set up this fundraiser. Any bit will help, and with luck and through your folks' generosity, I could fulfill this dream and become a better entertainer learning at this massive nerd meetup. I know this is kind of a silly request, but games are important to us, and they've brought us a lot of joy.

Any pledge over $100 will get a commission from Laura May of 2 6-inch or 1 10-inch custom embroidery or a full color drawing or painting up to two characters that can be mailed to you. Or just given to you at Gen Con if you're gonna be there. In addition, I'll happily write up to 500 words of flash fiction for you!
