Help Colleen Recover from Nec Fasc!

My mother, Colleen Hilton was admitted to the ER on the 2nd of February, with what appeared to be a bad case of the flu. After multiple rounds of tests and an exploritory surgery it was determined that she was actually battling a very aggressive infection called Necrotizing Fasciitis (known more commonly as Flesh Eating Disease). Her body was in septic shock and she was now in for the fight of her life. She was put into an induced coma and immediately underwent surgery to remove the infection. We were devastated when we were told that her chances of survival were slim to none, and she'd be lucky to make it through the night... Suffice to say she beat the odds and came through.
After multiple surgeries, they managed to get her infection under control and now, going on 6 weeks in 3 different hospitals and 5 different units she is conscious and healing well. As such we are shifting our focus to rehab and recovery.
As the result of some of the medications required to save her life, my mum is now facing multiple amputations/ partial amputations of her hands and feet due to extensive blood clotting. Though this is truly unfortunate, we remain hopeful that through therapy and the use of prosthetics she will retain as much function and independence as possible.
Obviously, with this significant life change there will be associated costs and we are asking that anyone willing to help do so by contributing what they can. Thank you for all your love and support!!!
