Help Dino and Debbie Recover

hi folks,
recently my friend Dino T. , a well known and much loved person in the guitar effects pedal community was feeling under the weather, and went to get checked out by his dr at the advice of his wife Debbie.

when he went to the dr, he was immediately hospitalized with one of the worst diagnoses you can have, a dissecting aortal aneurysm. basically, the aorta is the largest artery/vein in the body.. it comes out the top of your heart, and shoots down into your groin, supplying most of the blood supply to your body.

what happens in an aortal aneurysm is the vein walls weaken, and balloon full of blood, which then rips the lining of the aorta from the outer layers, creating a very dangerous leak that tends to get far worse as it progresses. it is often fatal, and even when caught in time can carry major major issues. the surgery is intense, its almost like victims of this disorder have to be literally filleted to fix it. the prognosis is better these days, but the recovery period is long, tedious, and will have a lot of ups and downs.

Dino has always been a great supporter of the global DIY community, integral in ressurecting long forgotten and rare "hen's teeth"  musical devices, which he shares for free with the whole world. he is much respected and greatly loved by his friends, who count literally in the thousands.

anyways, thankfully, after enduring weeks of surgery, infection and pain, he is beginning to heal, but its gonna be a LONG drawn out process, and will entail much physical and cardio therapy and quite possibly having to relearn many aspects of life we all take for granted.

thankfully, he IS insured and his medical expenses will be covered, but thats down the road... and right now, his wife debbie is having to shoulder all their financial burdens herself, as well as transportation and parking expenses to support him so stoically. her strength thru this has been astounding, and her love and support will get him thru...

but right now, they are hurting financially some, and we hope to raise enough money to help with transportation, parking, food, etc etc and could really use help from the global community to help.

i've turned to the world at large for help a couple times now, and been amazed at the love and generosity shown by the internet community for strangers... so i am asking one more time if YOU reading this can dig deep and maybe spare a little bit for a wonderful, loving, giving and generous human being who really could use some help and good karma as he struggles to recover and regain his life.

you can watch dino on youtube, google "hen's tooth cafe" and you will see what he's all about... well, to us in the musical community. he's also a great dad and humanitarian.

so please, if you can, help. if there's enough raised we hope to get him a gift of some rare guitar effect to make him feel better... and give him something to reverse engineer and give back to the world at large, as he has done literally hundreds of times over the years.

but right now, more importantly, the family needs money to work with and live on until the failsafes kick in. please help, tell a friend, and thank  YOU for reading my story.
