Help Ellie's medical bills!

My sweet Ellie went to the groomers on December 5th. Around 2pm we were contacted that Ellie was missing. We searched relentlessly for her and after 24 hours found her laying in a ditch. I am going to copy and paste my facebook post from here because the post is long.
Ellie was found nearby the groomers approximately 300-500 yards away. My neighbor and husband found her while we were canvasing the area. She was next to the train tracks in a ditch under some leaves. It's a miracle my neighbor saw her because she couldn't move and she wouldn't bark. I was across the street at a shop giving out flyers. Theo called me right away that he found her and I of course immediately rushed over to grab her and cried my eyes out even more.

Right away we take her to the nearest vet. They did x-rays and discovered her hip and leg are fractured. She will need surgery because the bone is poking into her colon. We were referred to rush to Cary for emergency surgery. After contacting Cary hospital they told me they wouldn't actually do surgery until next week. So we are going to seek out a local vet in town. Which should give us more opportunity to secure the funds. We contacted Highland vet in town and suggested to make her comfortable tonight and we will bring her in tomorrow to review her x-rays and plan for surgery.

So while at the vet I received several calls and messages letting me know the owner was spotted screaming and yelling and ripping my flyers down from all over town. I do not know the time line of this but she clearly didn't want Ellie found nor was happy that she was found. This infuriates me. She's stating otherwise to us in text messages though, and says she is sorry and will help with Ellie. So I am not sure how she really feels since there are so many reliable witnesses of her ripping my flyers in half. I noticed today some of my flyers were missing when we were putting up more but didn't think much of it.
The groomers handled this very poorly by not contacting us right away, and falsely telling us several times she was ok before finally admitting she was missing. I am so happy to have my baby home!
