Donation protected
Michael Ramirez, our Brother, Son, Uncle, Best Friend, has been found. It is with great sorrow in all of our hearts that we announce Michael Ramirez has passed away, we can finally bring him home and have closure. He is now with god singing with the rest of gods angels. The Ramirez Family have no words to express the love and gratitude we feel for everyone who has supported us through this tragic time in our lives. We would like to thank each and every person who took part in the search for Michael. Every family member, every friend, every stranger. For every prayer said to give us the strength, love and support to continue the search. We love everyone who has been here for us and would like to thank every donor who made it possible for us to continue our daily search. We ask for privacy in this time of mourning as we prepare funeral services for our beloved Brother Michael Ramirez. Please continue to pray for us all as we take the next step in putting our brother to rest. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you, so much from all of our hearts for your continued support and prayers. All remaining gofundme donations will go to paying for funeral expenses.

Sincerely,

The Ramirez Family

Our brother, Michael Ramirez, turned 27 on June 19th and his girlfriend surprised him with a camping trip to the Keyesville Campground on the Kern River. Thursday evening while setting up camp the temperature was over 110 degrees.  Unaware of the danger, Michael jumped into the Kern River to cool off and was swept away in the current.
A small army of his friends and family are now spending every day hunting along miles of the Kern River for Michael.

Please help us find our brother. Our family and his friends desperately need donations of any kind; funds, supplies, volunteers.

We have calculated costs and estimate that supplies, food and water, as well as room and board for the volunteers searching will be approximately $13,000 per week. Our initial goal is to raise this amount so we can keep the search effort going. We have about 15-20 people continuing to search for our brother at this time.  We would be forever grateful for any/all donations whether they are money, supplies or volunteering to help in the search.

Any help that you may be willing and able to offer would be a tremendous help to our family.  Please pray that we find Michael soon and for our family.

Thank you,

The Ramirez Family
