Help Fix AFK Game's Window

On Tuesday morning, Nov. 28, AFK Games in Holt was vandalized by an unknown person. They threw a large piece of concrete through one of the windows in what seems to be an attempt to rob the store. Luckily there was someone at the store at the time and nothing was taken and the person ran off.

While I'm glad that nothing more severe happened that day, I also recognize that even with insurance this is a large setback for a small business owner. One that should never have happened in the first place. What is more, Dan (the owner) is a good friend of mine and I know many more in the community feel the same frustration I do. 

So this is a call out to everyone in AFK's gaming community (and anyone who wants to help a small business owner) that truely appreciate what it means to have a friendly local gaming store. One where you can make friends, share stories, and take part in the games and activities that really drive us and enrich our lives. If any of this rings true with you, I ask that you donate what you can to help Dan get past this misfortune. 

What little we can scrap together will make a world of difference!
