Care for Emily C.

Emily C. lost her mother and father on Sunday, September 9, 2018 when 2 sneaker waves swept them out to sea as they were collecting mussels and fishing on a rock near the ocean. Emily was with them but was not hurt. Emily is a 10 year old 6th grader at Lake Oswego Jr. High.  Her family just immigrated to the U.S. in July. She has no siblings or immediate family in the country. She is being cared for by a foster family but will need funds for her care going forward. Anything you can give will help. This GoFundMe was established by Marcie McAuliffe, Treasurer of the LOJ Parent Club in Lake Oswego, OR.  The funds will be released to Cindy Chen, Emily Chen's aunt.  They will be placed into an account in the name of Xiaoyao Chen (Emily Chen's legal name).  For all who contributed to this campaign for Emily - thank you
