HELP FOR JOSHUA LAMB

Donation protected
Joshua was rescued late last night following a call that a little lamb was sitting all alone under a tree unable to get up. His back legs were not working and his tail had been torn off by we assume a fox. Little Joshua although unable to get up and very frightened, he was also alert and gently baaa'd as he was picked up and wrapped in a warm blanket.

After doing an initial evaluation of his health it is possible he has sustained a spinal cord or pelvic injury. He has discharge coming from his nose which would indicate infection in his little body. We would like to be able to give Joshua the best possible care at The Vet Practice in Whittlesea VIC. He may need xrays to work out what is going on in his legs, pelvis and spine and will most likely require medications such as antibiotics and definitely pain relief.

Although at this stage we are unable to say whether the prognosis for little Joshua is going to be positive, we would like to at least give him the best possible chance by taking him to a clinic that are very experienced in caring for lambs. He has already suffered greatly. We have no idea how long he has been in this state. What we do know is he is a beautiful boy who deserves every chance to be well and happy.

Any assistance to help us pay for his vet bill will be hugely appreciated.
