Elida Dominguez Medical Expenses
Donation protected
On November 8, 2016, while stopping by her local polling station to vote in Azusa, Elida Dominguez was an innocent bystander who was shot and critically wounded by a gunman with an assault rifle.
Elida was airlifted to USC Medical Center and immediately underwent surgery. As of today, she is still in critical condition and is awaiting more surgeries. Unfortunately the road to recovery looks to be long and slow.
Earlier this year her husband, a Vietnam Veteran, encountered several serious medical issues and has since become bedridden. Elida is the primary caregiver to him, and she is already anxious to go home and take care of him. She is also a beautiful grandmother to seven grandchildren, ages 19 to 1, who she also cares for from time to time.
Elida is a kind and loving person. She is always thinking of other people and always giving more than she can. The funds raised will be directly given to her family to help pay for any immediate medical expenses and medical care that she may need in the future.
Please keep the Dominguez family in your prayers as they continue through this difficult time. Any donation (big or small) you could give would be greatly appreciated.
