Help For Yana's Family!
Donation protected
Many of you know Yana. If you knew her, you could feel the light and energy she carried. Some of you that don’t know, she was a beautiful young woman, Mrs. Russian LA, caring daughter, loving mom, wife and a true friend. She shined bright and loved life. She was smart, talented and kind. She was passionate about speech therapy and was getting her MA degree in Speech Pathology while raising her little kids with her husband.
The tragedy happened at about 11:50 p.m. on Saturday October 13th 2018 on Ventura Boulevard, east of Louise Avenue. She was crossing the street with her friends at an intersection when she was struck by an SUV that was headed east. She was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but unfortunately she did not make it. She left this world so suddenly, leaving her family and friends.
Please help and donate whatever you can to help her family and kids get through this tough time.
Dear friends, my name is Andrei Markov and I live in Reseda, CA. I am a close friend of Evgeny Lavrentiev, Yana's husband. My wife was one of Yana's best friends, and our families have known each other for over six years, since our kids were born. We were at the same Birthday party when this horrible tragedy happened.
Unfortunately Yana didn't have a life insurance, so the family abruptly lost the second source of income and the main caregiver. This campaign was initiated by me and other friends, who were with Yana during that night to help her family with funeral expenses, mortgage and other household-related payments, and to provide care for two young children that Yana left behind. We hope that money that we raised will help her family to recover during the first year without Yana.
All proceeds of this campaign will be transferred to Evgeny Lavrentiev via wire transfer upon receipt. He is in desperate need of this money, since he incurred a lot of funeral and care-giving expenses in the past month.
