Help Fund an Educational Farm

Through the Looking Glass Farm is a bold new vision for what future farms should look like. It's aiming to be an educational farm and intentional homesteading community in New England that will strive on educating the public where their food comes from, how to grow and process their own, as well as providing other valuable resources and knowledge. If we achieve our goal the hope is to purchase 30 or so acres of land to do the following: 

Build the first homestead out of a shipping container - blogging the whole thing, costs and all.

Start a Tool Library for free use to the surrounding community.

Create a free-use path through the property for nature lovers and people who want to watch the farm's growth up close and personal. 

Start a garden Co-op both providing the locals with a source of fresh food and a chance to see where it comes from as well as participate in its cultivation. 

Participating in the conservation of heritage livestock and heirloom vegetables and plants. 

Provide a safe place to host classes on everything homesteading, be it building, permiculture, traditional gardening, raising of livestock, food preparation, self-sufficiency, etc. 

Provide a gathering place and opportunity for artists, engineers, and anyone with a problem solving mind to participate in the advancement of art, culture, and green technologies. 

Our goals are to get as many people involved as we can and to spread hope and positivity through all our endeavors. This entire enterprise will be brought together and worked on through the combined efforts of Sherry Hennigan and her daughter Typhani whose video above should give a glimpse of how far she's come, how hard they're both willing to work to achieve this goal, and how passionate they both are about the project. We know it's big and bold and a LOT to ask for but there seems to be a great need in the community for just this kind of beacon of hope and we would be thrilled if you'd join on us on our journey by supporting us in any way you can.
