Support me on my way to the IPF European Equipped Powerlifting Championships this May!!
After becoming Junior British Equipped Champion for Powerlifting in January I was lucky enough to be invited onto Team GB to compete in the European Championships in Pilsen, Czech Republic, in May alongside some of the strongest powerlifters in the world.
This is an amazing opportunity for me to represent my country, but as powerlifting isn’t a funded sport all travel, accommodation and expenses in between have to be paid for out of my own pocket. As a student with low income, it’s definitely not the best situation economically to be in. So I’m asking you lovely people to help me out and donate whatever you can to help get me there; every penny really does count!!
If you choose to donate you will be helping to cover the cost of:
Accommodation
Flights
Food
Equipment/kit I will need whilst competing
Your money will not only help me, it will also go towards covering the costs incurred for my coach Charlie Shotton-Gale (10x British Champion) as a competitor at the Championships. In addition, any and all money unspent I am donating to Dementia UK, an amazing charity that was a constant source of help and support during my Nan’s struggle with the debilitating disease.
I would be amazingly grateful for all your support - and whilst I can’t pay you back directly, you will not only get an eternity of love and gratitude on my behalf, you’ll also get a shoutout on my social media (lucky you) and maybe even a song sung in your honour (even luckier you).
