Help Hippie Bots Compete in Europe

Donation protected

Clifton Middle School's Robotics Team, The Hippie Bots, along with their robot, California Chrome, has been selected as the sole representative of the United States in the FIRST FTC Dutch Open in the Netherlands, May 19th-20th.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is more than just building robots.  FIRST's mission is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs, using engineering technology skills, and fostering well-rounded life capabilities.  These life capabilities include building self-confidence, communication and leadership skills.

The Hippie Bots have this once in a lifetime opportunity and need your help to get there!  They need to raise ~$25,000 to cover airfare, luggage, transportation, lodging, meals, competition fees & other educational opportunities in Europe's unique culture.  Any donation big or small to this opportunity is greatly appreciated!
