Help Inga Puhova After Traumatic Head Injury
Donation protected
This is the official fundraising campaign for Inga Puhova.
While vacationing in Traverse City, Michigan, Inga was sadly involved in a terrible snowmobiling accident and suffered a severe head trauma. She was airlifted to a nearby hospital and spent the last week recovering in the ICU. Inga is making some progress but has a very long road of ahead of her. When released, she will need to transfer to an inpatient rehab facility in lower Michigan and stay there for some time to recover before traveling back home to Oklahoma.
For those who have not had the pleasure of meeting Inga, she is one of the most sincere, generous and caring people you will ever meet. Inga has always put herself last when it comes to the needs of her family and friends. She is always the first to lend assistance to another person in need, whether it’s financially or emotionally. It is our hope she will see the generosity come back, tenfold.
Here are some of the things we are trying to raise money for to help support Inga during her long recovery:
Medical Expenses
Emergency Medical Air Evacuation
Extensive stay in Munson Medical Center ICU
Specialized Neurology Consultation
Multiple CT scans and MRI’s to monitor her brain injury
Occupational and Cognitive Therapy
Inpatient Rehabilitation
Living Expenses
Doggie daycare for her two dogs, Kai and Kora, until Inga can return home
General living expenses like rent, utilities, and groceries while unable to work
Travel costs to get back home to Oklahoma
Her very elderly and ill grandmother in Latvia, who is supported financially by Inga
Any amount would be appreciated, and most importantly sharing this post to your friends and family to let them know about this incredibly kind and thoughtful individual would be a huge help to support her full recovery. We also ask to keep Inga in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you,
The friends of Inga Puhova
