My name is Jaeda Ballard and I am currently a Junior at Washington State University studying Sport Management with a minor in Communication. I was recently accepted into a study abroad program in Accra, Ghana to study sustainable economic development. I will also work with the Play and LearnFoundation, a non-profit organization engaging underserved youth in sports, academic support, and
mentorship.
While I have been given the amazing opportunity to travel outside of the country for the first time, I have been denied the financial aid necessary to make this trip happen. I am extremely passionate about an opportunity to serve in Africa, to feel connected to my people, and prepare myself to be the leader our communities need.
I am asking for your help raising money for this trip. ANY contribution from my family and friends would be greatly appreciated.
