Help Jaxon Walk Again
Donation protected
On November 10, 2016, Jaxon and his younger brother Bentley were playing outside their grandmother's house in Biloxi off of Popps Ferry Road.
A neighbor's dog showed up and began attacking Bentley, who is 5. Jaxon, who is 15, rushed to rescue his baby brother from the dog's vicious attack when the dog turned on him. The dog refused to let him go and continued the attack on Jaxon.
Jaxon is currently at Oschner's in New Orleans with serious, life-threatening injuries. Doctor's were unsure if they were going to be able to stop the bleeding and reattach his calf muscle to his leg, which had been ripped off by the dog. At this time, the outcome of his leg is unknown. Doctors are working hard to save his leg and his life. Bentley was treated at a local hospital for his injuries.
Their mother, Tiffany, will be out of work for a while in order to care for her two sons during this tragedy. They are close, personal family friends and we would like to be able to ease her stress and financial burdens during this tragic time.
On 12/01, their mother woke to horrible news. The boys' father had drained the account with all of the donations that had been raised and skipped town, leaving the family stranded in New Orleans. A little over an hour later, the family found out that Jaxon would be allowed to come back home to Biloxi. But with no money left to their name, and their new car gone as well, they are stuck.
Anything at all will help with this tragedy and the aftermath of it all. Thank you!
