Help Josh and Glen make a new start

Donation protected

Josh and Glen have been dealt a bad hand. Josh who is only 24 years old is currently living out of his car with his 55 year old father Glen. A few months ago Glen was diagnosed with cancer and recently had a surgery, to make matters worse they were kicked out of their home and have had to resort to living from their car.

They are both doing the best they can with what they have and there has been great amount of support from the local residents of Ropes Crossing with people donating food, water and even a car battery. Josh is very appreciative over the meals and everyday items residents gave them.

Until then we would like to try and raise as much money as we can for them to buy food, clothes and other everyday items to help them start again.

We have given Glen and Josh the first installment of $2,350 which they have used on rental payments and some fresh clothes and food. We plan on finishing the GoFundMe page by the end of March and giving Josh and Glen a cheque to assist with Rent and daily living expenses.

We first met Josh and Glen when a local resident posted their story on facebook. Since then an overwhelming amount of residents have shown support and we have met them nearly everyday to see if they need anything.

We all have highs and lows in life, but in Josh's words ''The amount of support and love others give you, definitely make a bad situation better''.
