Help Kiana get to Junior Olympics

I'm reaching out to Family, Friends and the Community for support in helping Kiana acheive the goal of a lifetime: Lets get her to the 2017 USATF National Junior Olympic Championship in Lawrence, KS!

 Kiana is a second year veteren of competing in Track and Field with USATF. She trains as a Pentathlete (11-12 age group), with hopes of one day competing for the U.S. Olympic Team in the Heptathlon.

As a Pentathlete her events include; 80M Hurdles, Shotput, Long Jump, High Jump and 800M. Kiana also competes in the 100M, 200M, 400M and Javelin
As you can imagine, she has to work very hard to master each discipline. As her coach I am very proud of her and can attest to her stong work ethic on and off the track.

For most, qualifying for Junior Olympic Nationals is a two tier process. First an athlete must finish in the top 8 of an Association Championship in his/ her prospective event. After doing so, the athlete  has qualified to compete in the Regional Championships. Only the top 5 competitors in each event at Regionals may advance to the National Junior Olympic Championships.

This year at the USATF Nevada Association Championships in Las Vegas, Kiana placed 1st in the 80M Hurdles, High Jump and Javelin. In addition to these events she will also be competing in the Pentathlon at Regional Championships.

2017 USATF Region15 Combined Events Junior Olympic Championships- Pasadena, CA
July 8-9, 2017

2017 USATF National Junior Olympic Championships- Lawrence , KS
July 24-30, 2017
$$$ needed total: $3200 by July 19, 2017
          Lodging- $900
           Food- $1500
            Gas- $800

I really hope we can all come together and make this happen for a young lady whom I know deserves it. Kiana is a model student/athlete. She is not only sucessful on the track but, she is also on A/B honor roll and has been awarded on many occasions, the Citizenship award. I'm so proud of all her accomplishments and the hard work and dedication it took for her to get to this point.
