Help Kieon Get Top Surgery

Hey, My name is Kieon and I am a 20-year-old transgender man. I was diagnosed with gender dysphoria for a little over a year now, but I have known I was trans since I was 12 years old and I socially transitioned when I was 17 years old. I started testosterone during my freshman year of college on March 28th, 2018. The hormones have helped deepen my voice, broaden my shoulders, grow more muscle, and grow facial hair. Testosterone has helped me feel more like myself, but my body still does not look like me. The next big step is getting top surgery. I have wanted top surgery for the past 8 years. Top Surgery is surgery performed on the chest as part of gender reassignment, especially to remove breast tissue and produce a masculine appearance of the chest in female-to-male surgery. On Friday, July 5th, 2019 I will be getting top surgery with Dr. Oren Ganor in Boston, MA, but only if I have enough money by then to pay for it. I do have a job but it just doesn’t pay enough so that I can reach my goal. I have been saving up every penny I have for years, but bills and college supplies have been making it hard to reach my goal. This is affecting my day to day life. Getting this surgery will ensure my safety at school when I use the men's bathroom and dorm showers, and  overall have a better life for myself. It took me a very long time to accept myself and to come out as transgender, I had to wait until I was under my college’s insurance plan before I was able to ask a doctor for a prescription for testosterone. I would not ask for the help of strangers if I knew I could afford this journey on my own. I will also need the help of my friends and family, which I will be sharing this page with in the near future. Please help me achieve the body I was meant to be born in so I can enjoy my future and focus more on what I love. I appreciate every penny that gets donated.
