Help Kittie Komittee Save Animals

Share, Donate, Foster, Adopt, Everything Helps!
When I started Kittie Komittee the goal was simple: help as many animals as possible. It's been a busy two years for us-we've saved 75 animals and counting since spring of 2017 and we couldn't have done it without your help. You can read more details about the animals we've saved on our website (links below). We are so grateful for the support of so many fellow animal lovers. Help us continue our work saving homeless cats & kittens (& dogs & bunnies). Your donations go toward vet visits, spay/neuter, vaccinations, medication, food, supplies, trapping & life saving medical care & surgeries.
Our current focus is on LEO, a sweet senior Pomeranian/Sheltie mix that we took on in July who’s had a rough year. Leo has overcome most of his other health issues but needs an to see the cardiologist at Access hospital in Woodland Hills. Based on his previous x-rays, his heart is enlarged or may have a growth on it that may be pressing on his trachea and causing his chronic cough. We have tried many other treatments-antibiotics, holistic, antihistamines, steroids. The cough is constant and sometimes causes him to vomit and lose his breath. He needs this echo in order to get him on the right heart meds. Without it he could die.
WAYS TO HELP LEO:

When we first rescued him he was skin and bone, had not been outside in months, missing half his hair, and itching like crazy from a severe flea infestation and skin infection. Thanks to several vet visits & his incredible foster he’s made tremendous progress! He’s been on lots of meds/ supplements and she cooks him fresh food daily. We think he deserves the chance to find his forever home and we need to figure out what is causing the non stop cough in order for him to be adoptable. If we can get these symptoms under control we believe he could have a good quality of life. He's the sweetest guy who still has lots of love to give. He’s good with other small/medium mellow dogs and does fine with cats too.
Our other Focus is IRVING & ASHLAND (formerly Luke & Leia), two sweet kitties who had been left behind in an apartment by their owner who was evicted 3 weeks prior. Another tenant was finally able to get into the apartment and get the cats out. They planned to surrender them to a high kill shelter the very next day so we sprung into action to find an emergency foster. Donations will go towards microchips, vaccines and supplies.
If you’re interested in adopting any of these sweeties please email [email redacted] for more info, or learn more about Kittie Komittee and our animals available for adoption/ in need of foster, visit the links below:

Thank you all for your continued support-together we are truly saving lives! Someone in rescue once told me "You can't save them all, but you can save them one at a time." That really resonated with and still motivates me to dedicate so much time to personally saving animals and providing tools to help others do the same! It takes a village.
