Help lay to rest Baby Ja'Mariel.
In the early hours of March 12, 2018 Ja'Mariel Tanksley slept at her babysitter's house, while her mother picked up an extra shift at the nursing home where she works as an aide. While not all the details have been released, the family does know that her babysitter and brother fought. When the fighting escalated and a gun was fired, Ja'Mariel was the victim.
While most of the funeral expenses have been donated by a local funeral home, not everything is covered. Immediately the family needs to pay for a cemetery plot and other funeral expenses. Over the next couple of months they will need the money for a tombstone. All funds will be given to her mother, Georgiante Pulliman to honor Phattee's memory.
Georgiante's message:
Her name is Ja'Mariel LaNique Tanksley. She wasn't just some one year old, her nicknames were Phat, Stank Face, Cheeks, Jammy, Mari, Phattee, and Phat Head. She was so bad, ya'll, and it's all our fault, we all spoiled her. Man, everybody know even though it ain't what I wanted, but I'll confirm it. On March 12, 2018, my sweet baby girl gained her wings at just the early age of 1 year and 12 days. This pain is so hard to bear, but I'm trying, y'all. I am, I swear. But I lost all my strength when she lost her last fight, and she fought so hard. Y'all should have seen her, she fought so hard, but she looked so tired, and at 3:15 am as I gave my baby her last kiss, her last 'mommy loves you', our last hug; she took her last breath. I am so proud to have met her, to have carried her, give birth to her. Spread your wings, baby. Mommy loves you, and I won't forget you, baby. This one is going to be hard, but I'm going to try for my Phattee. I promise, I'm going to try so hard. #MyAngelJaMarielTanksley
