Help Me Fix Ash's Paw, Please

Six months ago, I rescued this adorable little fella after someone dumped him in my neighborhood.  He's recently developed an infection in one of his paws and is having trouble walking.  I need to get him to the vet to get it checked out.  Unfortunately, they've cut back my hours at work, so I don't have the necessary funds to be able to get him checked out. Nor am I likely to be able to afford to do this any time soon as I will be out of work from December 22nd to January 7th and I won't be able to get a second job due to family issues until around the first of the year. I really don't want to have to wait that long to get him looked at. I don't know how much it'll cost to get him taken care of, but in the past when I've had a cat checked out by a vet and given antibiotics the total was just over $300. If I have at least $300, I can get him to the vet and get something done to help him.
