Help Me Get To WOWPS!

Hello loves! My name is Lindsay Young and I am a poet from Long Island, New York. In January, I won the Philly Pigeon's WOWPS qualifier slam, granting me the opportunity to compete in this year's Women of the World Poetry Slam in Dallas, Texas. The competition will be held from March 14th to March 17th. Competing in an international competition has been an aspiration of mine for the past 5 years and I never imagined that the opportunity would present itself so soon but won't God do it!
Unfortunately, the travel and lodging expenses for this trip are pretty steep. If you have anything to contribute at all, no matter how small, I deeply and truly appreciate it. I would love the opportunity to be amongst the most talented and inspiring women in poetry, and to be able to showcase all of the hard work that I have been putting into my craft up until this point.
