Medicinal Nightshades is a small family run business consisting of herbalist Sarah Anne Lawless (me), my partner Alex, and our two little boys who are 1 and 4. We make medicinal nightshade ointments for pain, insomnia, anxiety, and depression as well as rare nightshade flower essences for emotional healing.
Since I fell down the stairs last autumn and seriously injured myself, we have had a formidable amount of bad luck and ill health and have never caught back up with our business all year. Recently our little family has been suffering from a nasty virus over the past few weeks that has developed into bronchitis and pneumonia and resulted in hospital visits.
On top of this our professional laser printer has stopped working and all attempts to repair it have failed. It is the lifeblood of our business and we can do nothing without it. We tried to borrow some inkjet printers but the demanding needs of our business quickly killed them in less than a week. We are unable to afford to replace our laser printer due to illness and a lack of childcare interfering with our ability to work as much as we need to this past year. Medicinal Nightshades is currently our sole source of income.
Due to our laser printer failing us, we are currently unable to label or ship our products without help. Please help us raise enough funds to replace our printer and purchase product labels and business cards from a printing service in the meantime. Any little bit will help us get all our orders out to our beloved customers, many of whom rely on our nightshade ointments for pain relief of serious health conditions.
