Help My Mom Fight Colon Cancer
Donation protected
My mother started off her day as she normally would; preparing lessons for her students while planning her menu for the upcoming Diwali holiday.
On the 3rd of November 2018, she complained of a severe abdominal pain and decided to visit the doctor.
The days to follow have turned into an absolute nightmare. My mom was diagnosed with a large intestinal tumor. She had surgery on the 5th to remove the tumor and spent the next few days getting accustomed to living with a colostomy bag.
During her check-up on the 14th, she found out that the tumor removed from her colon was cancerous and she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. Later that day, she started experiencing severe abdominal pains again.
We rushed her back into the medical hospital, where a CT scan revealed an obstruction in the small intestine. She entered surgery on the 19th and everything that could possibly go wrong...did.
Her body couldn't handle the strain of a 2nd surgery so soon after the 1st one, and now she is fighting for her life in an ICU at Southern Medical Clinic and Oncology Centre
Her medical team is doing everything possible to keep her alive, however we are drowning in mounting medical bills with each new treatment. I would gladly give my mom a kidney if need be and we are using all our resources to cover any financial cost, but it's not enough.
We are fighting to keep our mother alive and are kindly asking you for your support .
We deeply appreciate your kindness.
