Help My Sister Heal Her Cancer

Last November my sister Sinead was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. As anyone can imagine this came as a huge shock to her and her loved ones. Being a nurse, Sinead has spend most of her life looking after others, working both with the elderly and adults and children with learning disabilities . Sinead is one of the most caring and loving people I know and she has always had such a positive outlook on life. She is my loyal sister, my loving friend and amazing auntie to my children.
For a long time Sinead suffered with Fibroids which over the years increased in size and affected her daily life. Six years ago Sinead had a miscarraige which left her and her partner heartbroken, but being Sinead she didnot take much time for herself before returning to work. it was at a routine check up for her fibroids that she was told she had Cervical Cancer. Sinead was advised to have a Hysterectomy, which she did have earlier in the year. After that she was given the all clear but was advised to have both Chemotherapy and Radiation as preventative treatment. Throughout all of this she remained mentally strong and positive. However during her Hysterectomy her bowel was affected and during the Chemo and Radiation she started to lose alot of weight and become extremely fatigued. After 4 intense weeks of treatment she stopped ,
Sinead then began to focus on building up her immune system, her bloods and her weight. She succeeded in doing just this and began to get her energy back.
However in September during a follow up appointment she was told that the cancer had returned.
Sinead wants to put all her energy into strengthening her body and healing herslf with holistic treatments. It is because of this, that I am starting this fundraiser, so that everyone that has been touched by Sinead's kindness through her work and friendship can help her on this journey. It is our turn to to help contribute towards her care.
The money raised will go towards equipment needed to strenghened her body and also towards treatment at a Holistic Cancer Clinic. I have made contact with a clinic in Germany call Arcadia and hope that once they recieve the information needed they can put a plan in place. At this stage I am not sure how much it will cost, but I will keep everyone updated. The sooner that Sinead can get there the better. So please Help My Sister Heal her Cancer
