Help Officer Jordan

Donation protected
In December 2017 Officer Jordan was hired by the City of Temple, GA to be a police officer. At that time he completed all of the necessary new hire paperwork including Insurance forms to start his healthcare insurance in January 2018. All throughout the year, Officer Jordan repeatedly requested his insurance card from the city clerk with the response always being, “let me call the insurance company and find out where it is”. Towards the middle of the year, Officer Jordan began to feel ill and once again requested his insurance card from City Hall. It was at this time they admitted they had dropped the ball and said he wasn’t covered on the cities insurance plan. As an alternative, he was allowed to use the city credit card to go to the doctor resulting in a bill of $1300.00 dollars. Tests would later show that Officer Jordan was indeed sick and required a 3 month regiment of medication. This medication once started can not be missed for the entire 3 month time period. When Officer Jordan called to check the price of his medication, he was told it would be a total of $84,000 dollars. He then asked the City of Temple to pay for the medication since they didn’t properly insure him. As of today, City Administrator Bill Osbourne has declined the request for payment even though Officer Jordan could suffer organ failure without the necessary medication. Please help Officer Jordan get his much needed medication. A donation in any amount would be greatly appreciated.
