It is with great sadness that our wonderful friends, the Oue family, that now have met with an unfortunate accident.  On Tuesday, Novemeber 8th in the afternoon, a house in Abbotsford caught fire. They escaped from their basement suite of the burning house with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.

We, the Robertson family, first got to know of Shinji & Mayu in 2011 when they were leading a fundraising relief project here in British Columbia, Canada for Japan's devastated Earthquake/Tsunami victims of 2011.
They are two of the most selfless indiviuals we know and along with their two beautiful children, 5 year old Takeshi and 17 months Miwa.

They have raised funds successfully to help others for many years, but now find themselves victimized by a fire by no fault of their own.

They have been so generous of their time and effort to helping others in need.  We feel strongly that we need to do our part in helping them now in their time of need!

They have been temporarily put up in a local hotel from the support of Emergency Social Services, however their stay will end in a few days, and they will be forced to find a new place to live before this short time ends on November 17, 2016.

Also having no insurance on their belongings, they are trying to salvage what is left.  However they still need a lot of necessities to get themselves back on their feet. Any donation amount would help them get through this tough time.

Please support us in helping the Oue family in their time of need.

(Emergency Social Services
