Puerto Rico Aide Team and Supplies

We Unite Orgnaizations and the Human Rights Festival is seeking donations and volunteers to support our efforts on behalf of Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Beginning 10/7, we will be ramping up our efforts by expanding our work from preparations in the states to trips to the island. 

We will be placing a recon team on the ground to coordinate with other NGOs and local government agencies in order to provide additional humanitarian assistance to the most devastated, hardest-hit, and extremely vulnerable rural areas. We will be transporting volunteers with multiple skill sets back and forth for the greatest impact. 

Our focus will be stabilization, extraction, and delivery of patients with a broad spectrum of needs to the most accessible and appropriate level of care. We will be helping all patient populations, including the infirm elderly, those with environmental injuries, and families who have a relative with special needs. 

We will be going into the hardest-to-reach areas in critical need and getting what needs to be done, done! When we enter an affected region, we will assess conditions and coordinate with other aid groups to get the help to those who need it most. Volunteer or offer a donation!
