Purchase a human powered Village Drill for Kenya!

Water is life. Mostly women and young girls in the Naroosura , Kenya region are responsible for walking an average of 25 kilometers every day to fetch water that their families use for cooking, bathing, and drinking. Water holes are shared by local people and their cattle, spreading disease. Boreholes are a much cleaner and safer way for the locals to meet a basic need and also allow time for young girls to pursue their education.
Share the Wellth, in partnership with WhoLives, is fundraising to purchase a human-powered Village Drill that can be easily taken apart and transported across the Naroosura region, providing clean water and improving the lives of thousands. The drill, transportation, and labor will cost $100,000, but unlike many projects, this well will be used again and again throughout the region, bringing water to thousands.
Donate generously today to help us reach our goal of $100,000. Top donors will receive a plaque at the well!
