Hello fellow animal lovers! We have a very special soul who is in need of some help! Please Read...
Maggie is a 9 year old Black Lab. She is a very good dog, with a sparkling, optimistic personality! Maggie is house trained, she likes kids, cats, and dogs. She is very friendly, and loves everyone!
Maggie was brought to us by her owner, whom could no longer care for her. We were told that she had an "infected foot".( The owner brought us paperwork of her being treated with an antibiotic for months, because her previous vet believed she had an infected toenail. )We believe this owner tried to help Maggie, but needed help. We knew Maggie deserved a second chance. When we received Maggie, we could tell she needed her paw checked out ASAP. Her front paw has an open wound, and she does not put much weight on it. She also has a small growth on her hind leg. Our veterinarian checked Maggie out, and diagnosed her with a tissue based tumor. We are told it will be a fairly simple procedure to remove both growths. We need help with funds for Maggie's surgery. The estimated cost is $850 not including any medication/care she may need.
Maggie is in perfect health besides her tumor/growths. We are committed to helping Maggie, and finding her a loving furever home! Maggie needs your help! Please share and donate if you can!
