Save Covington-Latonia Family Home
4 years ago my mother passed away and my daughter and family were told the bank was going to foreclose and they had to move after taking care of her in her final years so, all 5 were forced to move into 1 room.
The house stood empty for 4 years, being vandalized which created the need for major repairs. My daughter and her family moved in and started repairing the house and paying on the 4 years of back taxes, which the bank didn't pay on. The bank had assured us that they wouldn't foreclose on the house but, that they would be able to work out an arrangement for them to purchase the house once the repairs were completed and the house was brought up to the value owed. Now that the kids have been working on the repairs, which have a long way to go, the bank is demanding the payment in full and will not accept payments.
Her chidren, which are 4, 13, and 14 yrs old, were so excited at having a home they have been helping with all the repairs on the home, the 4 yr old is even helping with the puttying.
They have begun a new life and now the bank is wanting to take that away from them.
We are not sure how long we have to accomplish our goal, however, any assistance will be appreciated and will go toward giving these children the chance to have a real home, for the first time since my mother died, and will save the family home and allow it to be filled with love once again.
God Bless You.
