Help save my cat askem!

For anyone who's met my cat askem, you know he is the sweetest, most loving cat you'll ever meet. Monday, November 21st his health began to rapidly decline. I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with diabetes. I took him home and began giving him insulin but his health continued to deteriorate. On Friday of that week my brother-in-law had to urgently rush him to the vet clinic. When askem got there, the staff later told me he was hypothermic and his heart rate was very slow. They did what they could to raise his body temp and did a blood and urine sample. They found that he also had a really bad urinary tract infection and as going into a diabetic crash. On the recommendation of my vet i took him to the vet hospital for overnight care. For anyone who has had a sick pet you know that this is a very emotional time and the costs of medical services needed add up very quickly. We have already spent $1600 in vet bills before the overnight care cost, which for two nights is $2700. I am a student in full time school who is working very little during my studies. Anything anyone is able to donate will help me to save my baby and pay for his vet bills.
