1. Underwater what?! What is underwater rugby?
Underwater rugby (UWR) is an underwater team sport. During a match, two teams try to score a negatively buoyant ball (filled with saltwater) into the opponents’ goal at the bottom of a swimming pool.

2. Where is the team going?
We are participating as the first ever Canada women's team in the 11th CMAS Underwater Rugby World Championships 2019 from July 27 - August 3 in Graz, Austria.

3. What will the money be used for?
The money will be used to pay for the tournament fees, uniforms, gear, airfare, and accommodations, transport and food during the tournament.
