Help Shirley Stein beat Esophagus Cancer
Donation protected
Shirley Stein, known as mom and to many as Nanny, was diagnosed with esophagus cancer this past October (of 2018).
She is one of the hardest working, most loving people and has always taken care of others before herself. Even after her initial diagnoses she was still going to work every day to open her dog grooming shop, Classy Clips.
Sustaining this Shop had been her primary source of income in the Nederland & Bridge City, Texas area for over the last 25 years. Only up until a month ago when her family had to close the doors! This has been very hard on Shirley both emotionally and financially.
The news came as quite a shock to our family; but we are holding positive foresight in that the cancer has not spread to other parts of her body and that there is a favorable prognosis and survival rate entailing an aggressive treatment plan.
Since being diagnosed with cancer Shirley has had to have a G-tube (PEG) surgically implanted, started Chemo on December 18th and is on schedule to start Radiation in the next few weeks.
With being no longer able to work or keep her small business open, even with insurance, her portion of medical bills thus far has surmounted $20,000. We (the family) are asking for your support to donate if you are able and please share this page.
Please consider donating for this amazing woman and pray for God to restore her health. Anything is greatly appreciated.
It only takes 1,000 people to donate $30 each to reach our goal!
Thank you so much for your consideration & support in Helping Shirley Beat Esophagus Cancer!!!

The Goal - $30,000
To optimize Shirley's success in best medical care and new financial focal point, the family is asking for any donations through GoFundMe and current goal to reach $30,000. All funds raised will go directly to Shirley's medical costs.
Any funds donated would be greatly appreciated and go towards associated costs such as the remaining balance for both her hospital stays at Port Arthur Medical Center and the Methodist Hospital during October after insurance, upcoming rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, meal replacements required for the (G-tube) PEG tube, parking/transportation for upcoming visits, homecare, as well as her current loss of income to sustain her home and living costs.
Shirley doing what she loved with her dog Yippie.
Shirley with her late husband Butch.
Shirley with both her parents, Mimi & Pops, and her three daughters Taffy, Karen & Janet.
Shirley, her brother Wayne, and sister Barbara.
