Help support baby Teichroeb

Hey everyone,

As some of you may know, our friends Tina and Benny are having a baby with a heart defect that has been diagnosed as Left Hypoplastic heart syndrome and Aortic Atresia which means the left side of the heart is critically underdeveloped and cannot effectively pump blood to the body. With having a baby with this kind of heart defect Tina will need to deliver at a hospital in Toronto with heart specialists. Tina will be staying at Sick Kids hospital while they are in Toronto and could be there for up to 6 months depending on multiple factors. As for Benny, he will be travelling back and forth from home to Toronto for their two year old son and for work. The baby will need to forego surgery immediately after he is born and will need time to recover in Toronto. There will be two other surgeries the baby will need in order to survive (one around 6 months and the other around 1 year). He will also be needing medications throughout his life and when the baby is sent home from Toronto he will need to be on an oxygen tank for awhile which will need to be rented out. There will be lots of expenses that will add up as Tina and Benny go through this journey. It would be great if we could take away some of their financial worry and help Tina and Benny through this time of need.
