Help support Daniel Wesley

Donation protected
Daniel Wesley is my 17-year old godson, my cousin and is also my hero! He is the "good Samaritan" who was shot and run over on Nov. 27th while trying to help a wounded woman on the side of the road who had also been shot and thrown out of her car. While rendering first aid to her, he himself was run over by the shooter in his car, and then shot by the perpetrator twice...once in the leg and once in the arm. Daniel is alive (praise Jesus), but has sustained multiple injuries and fractures, he is in a lot of pain and has a long road to recovery ahead of him. His femur was broken when the car ran over him, and he also has major injuries from when he was shot in the leg as well. He underwent surgery to place a rod in his leg. He will also need surgery on his arm where he was shot and the humerus shattered into multiple pieces. He will have months of rehabilitation and physical therapy ahead of him.  His father suffered a stroke and had to retire early.  Additionally, Daniel & his family's home was damaged in the Great Flood this past August. Therefore our family would really appreciate your support!  I have created this account to request assistance to help with his medical and other expenses.  Daniel is an extraordinary young man, with a heart of gold and a strong faith in God. Daniel is a senior at Central High School, and is loved by everyone who is blessed to know him. Please consider making a donation to help them, and as always, please support him and his family with your prayers! Thank you for your love and prayers in advance and God bless you!

"There is no greater love than this, to lay down one's life for his friends." John 15:13

The Good Samaritan
Luke 10:30-37

Jesus answered, "A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead. By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side. In the same way a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion, came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said to him, ‘Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.’ Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?" He said, "He who showed mercy on him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise."
