We were kids when rock & roll was born and it lit a fire in each of us. Shortly thereafter, as young aspiring musicians we played a part in the creation and the crafting of rock. You were there. You lived it with us every step of the way. You supported our bands, THE SEEDS OF TIME, PRISM, CHILLIWACK & THE HEADPINS. We had countless hits on the radio, we sold millions of albums, we sold-out concert arenas across Canada and into the United States. We won Junos and were awarded gold & platinum records. All thanks to you.
We had learned from the masters and then we became the masters. Our music was the soundtrack of your lives.
But when those heady days of some fame, a little fortune and a lot of glitter faded away, we continued with what we are ... working musicians.
And so, it’s not over. The Authentics have new songs to offer and we need to return to the studio to record this music. We have reworked versions of some of our classic hits and we have revived some songs once destined for the charts but left unrecorded. We believe that, if this music is not captured now, while we are still in the prime of our creativity and at the peak of our abilities, it will be lost forever. We can only do this with your help.
So, climb aboard. Take a leap of faith into the world of rock and roll, where each one of us still matters, and where we all can make a difference to the soundtrack of the world.
