Help the Dunn-Brice's Rebuild #CampFire
Donation protected
Derek and I woke up on Thursday morning (11/8) to an orange smoky sky and knew something was wrong. There was a forest fire bearing down on our town. Derek went to work at Paradise HS and helped evacuate students, while I packed up our three dogs (Frida, Dottie, and Buggy) and our guinea pig (Sweet, Sweet Mary) before evacuating our home in Paradise, CA. Derek ended up driving four students along with him when he finally evacuated the town. We watched trees turn into torches, and buildings engulfed in flames on both sides of the road as we evacuated. We are very thankful to be alive, and just having lost our home and our possessions - many of our neighbors were not so lucky. While we don't feel like victims when we compare our situation to so many others, we are asking our friends and family who can afford it to make a small donation to help us rebuild. Thanks to everyone who has reached out, offered help, etc. Love to all...
