Help the Jinkins Family
Donation protected
Rodney Jinkins was a Westfield resident and a member of the McKinley school family. You have probably heard through social media and various news accounts that Rodney Jinkins was on vacation with his wife and 8 year old twin children when he passed away suddenly. The family needs community support to help financially with unexpected costs, funeral expenses and immediate needs for the family. The loss of a husband and father has been devastating for the family. We need to gather the support and generosity of our community to help the family in this time of need.
Rodney passed away at 49 years old. In his early 30's, he won the battle against Hodgkins Lymphoma, but being a cancer survivor makes it very difficult to get a life insurance plan that can provide any type of substantial support for a family. The sudden loss of a husband and father has catastrophic effects, and most young families are not prepared for this life-changing event. Many of us can identify with how difficult it will be to go from a two to one family income. The funds raised will help cover the funeral arrangements and provide support to his wife and children for their immediate needs.
Rodney and his wife Lori moved to Westfield to start a family and give their children a better life in a community with people that care for one another. Collectively we are this community and can show support and care for the Jinkins family by meeting their imminent needs.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
