HELP US FIGHT HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN GHANA

Beauty for Freedom 501c3 Anti-Human Trafficking Non-Profit Organization – develops creative curriculums that are expressive and creative in nature. Our creative courses aim to help survivors find a form of expression beyond words or traditional therapy. Creative therapy is as limitless as the imagination in finding appropriate modes of expression. Our teachings include custom art, music, skills training, photography workshops and more.

Art Therapy. Education. Empowerment. This is how we help survivors of human trafficking. We support recovery through creativity and skills training. We nurture our youth by removing the stigma of self-expression, legitimizing their ideas, hopes and dreams.

Our program equips communities with the building blocks to manage trauma and helps survivors rebuild their lives.

Through both corporate sponsorships and your individual support, Beauty For Freedom needs to raise a total of $30,000 by April 15th, 2023. This will not only fund two weeks of workshop programming led by twelve professional volunteers but will also fund an entire school year's worth of arts & crafts supplies for over 500 survivors and at-risk youth of human trafficking.

2023 marks our fourth year working in Ghana, conducting a robust series of courses that includes creative arts, photojournalism, dance and a giant mural design workshop.

USING ART TO FIGHT FOR FREEDOM

Eight years ago, we launched our Expressive Arts Therapy initiative, a program that addresses trauma through, art, music, movement and mindfulness. Today, we’ve expanded this across the US, India, Cambodia, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Ghana, empowering over 3,500 survivors worldwide.

We need your support to accomplish our goals in Ghana and support the healing of an additional 500 survivors of child labor trafficking and at-risk youth through our art and empowerment programs this year.
