Our Alaskan Dream

I'll start by telling you a little about us! "We" is comprised of myself, Jessica, my partner, David, and our family of furry babies which consists of two awesome cats (that are convinced they're dogs) and the two most amazingly flappy, loving, and silly Great Danes you could ever hope to meet. It has been my dream for many, many years to relocate to the beautiful dream land that is Alaska. This was only solidified even more by our visit to David's brother and sister-in-law living there a little over a year ago. To say I fell in love is a large understatement. David has been hellbent on getting back there since being put in a position that forced him to move away several years ago. Alaska is where our hearts call home.

Now, the problem. We, unfortunately, live in a state with low income rates that make it difficult to save money in a reasonable amount of time, even after cutting unnecessary expenses out of our lives. This coupled with some rough luck for myself (medically) and David (vehicularly) hasn't really helped our savings accounts much either.

This is where you come in! I've done quite a lot of price hunting and research to come up with a reasonable cost of relocation. We will obviously be saving as much as we can as well, but any bit you'd be willing to give to help us get to where we belong would be more appreciated than words could ever hope to say. We would be more than happy to offer our awesome tour-guide services to any and all contributors any time you feel like visiting the amazingly beautiful land that is Alaska, as well as offering a place to stay any time we have the ability to!
