Help us Rep.our Marimba Heritage @ Costa Rica Fest

Mark Coyoc & Roberto Perez are committed member and founders of the Benque Marimba Los Hijos Del West from Benque Viejo Del Carmen, Belize. They are group of young dreamers  who seek to preserve and promote their cultural heritage in the community, supported and attached to the Benque House of Culture since Jan 16,2013.

The group has been invited to the International Costa Rica Marimba Music Festival in Guanacaste from July 21 to July 27,2019 however the group members need to provide their own roundtrip airfare cost which most parents will provide,however it is challenging for this two best friends to sum up the amount.

Mark Anthony our drummer age 16, has been raised and is living with his loving grandmother, his sole supporter after his mother passed away at a tender age. 

Roberto Carlos age 17, humble origin comes from  his loving mom being the sole provider of the home and a golden citizen who bring income as a domestic worker,lacking the necessary resources and hardships she hopes that through kind support Roberto will not feel any disadvantage,but be greatful for collective support.

Both Youths hold exceptional roles and their absence would be heartbreaking for the entourage.

We seek your kind heart support in allowing these two young artists that have ventured and broken the social barriers and invested in the arts and culture, thus making themselves resounding artists.
