Help Us Save More Pigs

The Blind Spot Animal Sanctuary is a small animal sanctuary in Durham/Hillsborough NC area that provides lifelong, loving care to neglected and homeless farm animals, placing those who are adoptable in forever homes. We rescue, rehabilitate and care for animals that once found themselves surrendered, abandoned, sick and exploited. Our sanctuary is currently home close to 50 animals. In the last 2 months alone we saved 5 pigs and 2 goats. Four of the pigs were near death due to horrible neglect and life threatening illness. Farm animals are some of the most misunderstood animals on earth and often find themselves in the most horrific situations. Some are being mistreated, others slaughtered and some end up in rural shelters. We would love to open our doors to more animals in need of help so that they can experience love, care and safe haven for the rest of their lives. We are currently in a process of admitting two more pigs one of which is fat blind.

We need help to expand to make this happen. With that come additional expenses such as veterinary costs, straw, hay, feed, and every day costs like lights, water and heat.
