Help us survive a bad divorce!

Donation protected
My wife and I live as in-home caretakers to a disabled veteran whose husband recently filed for divorce completely out of the blue. He waited until our bank accounts were empty, providing no assistance until she signed a document stating that she would not attempt to press for alimony or any other kind of financial help in any way, unbeknownst to her.  She had lost her father and grandparents in an accident the day prior to his request for signature, and was in no way in a frame of mind to understand what she was signing, only that she had to in order to get food and a safe place to go. We moved down to Texas, where she has friends, and away from Colorado due to her marijuana allergy. She breaks out in seizures around the stuff.

Right now, we're nearing the end of what little money we have left, and we've still got to fight this in court and just survive until the divorce is finalized.
The $2000 goal breaks down as follows -
$900/mo rent
$210/mo phone
$150/mo electricity
$100/mo estimated gas
$100/mo estimated water/trash service
$400/mo food (due to medical issues, she has a very restricted diet. Severe anemia and type 2 diabetes make feeding her a little expensive.)

This is just to keep us on our feet until I can land a job here. It's going to limit what I can do as a caretaker, but we've run out of options. I have no idea how long this is all going to take, or if we'll need more help in the future.

We'll need to make this amount by the 25th of this month.

Thank you for reading and understanding.
